My name is Miss Amador-Christie and I am an English teacher at an independent school in Wokingham, Berkshire. I offer private online English tuition to students across the United Kingdom.
I studied English at Oxford Brookes University, graduating with a 2:1, and more recently completed my PGCE in English at Durham University.
I support students from Key Stage 3 through to A Level, helping them build confidence, strengthen their analytical skills, and develop clear, structured responses. My tuition is designed to make complex English skills more accessible, whether students need support with reading comprehension, essay writing, exam technique, literature analysis or coursework preparation.
I offer prospective clients a free 15-minute meet and greet to discuss their requirements and identify the most suitable support.

I build strong foundations in English by supporting students with reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, analytical writing and creative writing. Lessons are designed to develop confidence, accuracy and independence before GCSE.

Focused support for GCSE English Language and Literature across AQA, Pearson Edexcel and other major exam boards. Students develop confidence in analysis, essay writing, exam technique, transactional writing and revision strategies.

Specialist support for A-Level English Literature and Language, helping students develop more independent, sophisticated and precise analytical skills. Lessons focus on essay structure, close analysis, critical thinking and exam confidence.

Essay and Mock Feedback
Detailed essay and mock exam marking with clear, personalised feedback. Students receive specific WWW and EBI targets, examiner-style guidance, and practical next steps to improve structure, analysis, accuracy and exam performance.

I believe that true confidence in English comes from more than memorising quotations or learning model answers. My approach breaks complex skills into clear, manageable steps so that students can develop independence, accuracy and confidence in their own writing.
